For a fast paced, quick erotica, check out Ruse. Do not expect to fall in love with the main character. For a change of pace, the main character Asta is unlovable and out for her own pleasure in the beginning. Asta comes across as manipulative, guarded, and vain as she seeks to make her arch nemesis life miserable. I'll admit, whatever the ruse was supposed to be was kind of lost on me, and the reason why. But the downright devious Asta starts coming out of her shell more and more as she manipulates her real love interest.
The writing style is unique, and offers alternating points of view to give a better understanding from the characters. I would have liked to see this story lengthened a bit, adding more depth to the characters and explinations to the reasons why everything was happening. However, it was a decent quick erotica that will provide some entertainment.
