Cracking Up

By now, I'm sure everyone realizes I am a sucker for erotica with plot.  Cracking Up! does not disappoint in this aspect.  A gripping story that explores certain D/s scenarios in an uncommon way, also with some very "dirty" sex scenes.

It's a little off the wall, but no one said that is a bad thing.  While it's a shorter read, it will keep you captivated the whole way through with the unique situations.

Synopsis:

Joe Robertson’s life never panned out. In college, he was a top draft pick until his knee blew-out in the NCAA Championship game on what he claimed, was a cheap shot by Drew Waters. Winter's Kiss

Reed James is at it again, bringing us the sequel to The Pixie's Passion, book two of The Mortal Champion series.  A war between fairy courts, seductions of supernatural beings-- you can't ask for more than that!  Well, you could, but you'd be hard pressed to ask for more than this book offers, aside from the next one in the series.

If you thought The Pixie's Passion was steamy, it doesn't hold a torch to the more detailed and creative sexual adventures in Winter's Kiss.  I'd highly recommend an outlet for sexual frustration after reading this book!

Miami Steam

A suspenseful erotica that is sure to keep you glued to the pages! Miami Steam may not be the longest erotica ever featured here, but it does not lack in quality.  The story starts out at a fast pace, building up to a climax that has a few twists and turns.  The way the two main characters bump heads in the beginning adds levity to their situation, and by the end when a crazed killer makes their move, anxiety is introduced into an otherwise heated book.

Wait for Me

Get ready for an emotional journey filled with intensity.  Wait for Me reads like a trilogy in one book, and will not have you complaining about the length (we all know that size isn't everything, but the larger the better sometimes!).  This book is not for the faint of heart or anyone who gets squeamish easily.  There are some brutal scenes that deal with some heavy issues.  Despite the seriousness of the book, there are moments in here that are wonderfully passionate and have very erotic scenes.

This is a well written book, long enough to give you a complex plot from beginning to end, and does not pull any punches.

The Pixie's Passion

Pixie's passion from The Mortal Champion series is the newest development by Reed James.  While this story has plenty of sex to keep a reader changing garments, this book contains more than *just* smut.  The intertwined worlds of fae and reality merge fluidly as a pixie is sent to win a mortal to the side of the Seelie.  If you have any previous knowledge of the fae, this book reads much easier as beloved characters from old tales emerge like Mab, Titania, and Oberon.  There will be no disappointment as The Pixie's Passion weaves smut and plot together succinctly.  Without a dull moment to it, and full of steamy pixie passion (see what I did there?) you will be demanding more of these.  The bad news: This is the start of the series so we'll just have to wait for the next.  The good news: Reed James has a plethora of well-written erotica to keep you entertained until the next book is out.
If you're a fan of urban fantasy, fairy erotica, or something that is packed with plot and smut, then you will not be disappointed with this series.  Definitely go grab a copy to keep your devices warm!

Roll Against Trust

There isn't much more that I could ask for with Roll Against Trust.  It's an erotica chalk full of nerds, sex, and threesomes.

While this has some nerdy qualities (and I say that with the utmost appreciation), the gaming aspect of the book is really only background noise to the relationships that are being developed.  Tasha is a great representation of a class of women that are underrepresented in novels with her tom-boyish attitude and love of table top RPG's.

This book does a great job of weaving witty dialogue, intense sex scenes and a complicated friendship that few would understand.  I absolutely love the relationship between the three friends and was thrilled to see that explored.  There are too many books that shy away from the complexity of threesome's, and Allyson Lindt does a wonderful job dealing with it.

Left to Chance

The second in The Chances Are series, Left to Chance takes place in that sinfully delightful corner of the world known as Vegas.  The old adage is, What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but is that ever true?  Following characters from the first book, Left to Chance lets the reader take a look at the lives of Eliza and Jake, a dominant male with a no-bullshit kind of woman.  These characters are thrown together seemingly by chance when they wake up the next day wondering "what the hell happened?" and a glaring sparkly stone on Eliza's finger.  Although it has a comical premise, this book is not as fluffy as it sounds.  The sex is a tug-o-war balance between the dominant personalities of each character, filled with steamy romantic plots, hot sex, and has the potential to give you emotional whiplash when you're done reading.
